Today the v8 train drove past me, I jumped on.
8:00 PM- baby carrots
- 2 sticks of celery
- Kraft Free ranch dressing
6:15 PM- Starbucks' grande iced coffee
12:15 PM- Cup A Joe large coffee with 1 shot espresso
I was forced to add a shot to this coffee so that I would reach the minimum amount I could purchase before using a credit card. This is a violation of the contract Cup A Joe signed with the credit card companies whose cards they choose to accept. I
angrily wrote them at
cupajoe@bellsouth.net, informing them of this violation and attaching a pdf obtained from visa.com of rules and regulations for small businesses when accepting credit cards. Said pdf clearly stated on page 10 that businesses accepting Visa credit cards must accept all valid Visa cards regardless of amount of purchase.
